Wednesday night, the Lacey Chamber announced it has reach 100 members, gave a donation to the Lacey Food Bank. $1,000 was awarded to go towards the cost of their new van. The photo is below, and in addition to that, we are very proud of our fellow Chamber members! Also thank you Rhiannon Mindas, of Nukem Pest Management, for bringing to the Chamber's attention the Bodzak family's needs. They are a local family that recently had a horrific home fire, leaving them all displaced and living with other relatives at the moment. Our Chamber members came together & donated to help this family. Since November 1st, Chamber members have donated a total of $977 towards helping the Bodzak family. Donations were in the form of gift cards, checks, & cash.
If you have the desire to give & did not have an opportunity yet, there is still time! Donations are still being collected for the family. You can mail in your donation to the Chamber and we will collect it to give to Rhiannon as she organizes it all for the family. If you prefer to buy a specific gift & not just give money, consider one of these items for their 10 year old little girl: DVDs, bike/helmet, Wii & games, Nintendo DS & games, gift cards for clothes.
The Chamber also enjoyed fantastic presentations from:
Main Speaker: Lee Rubin, who presented a 20 minute presentation entitled, Don’t Just Play... WIN!
and a 5 minute Member Spotlight from Sherry Schnepp, of Our Gang Players.
