1. MARCH'S LACEY CHAMBER SPOTLIGHT WAS A SUCCESS! WHAT IS NEXT?
The Chamber's Events Committee is looking to tackle its next
challenge. If you would like to be involved, reach out to Alan
Thatcher of Home Turf Yard and Home Maintenance, the Director of
2. NETWORKING BREAKFAST/AFTER HOURS EVENTS
The Chamber is looking for members to host Networking Breakfasts or
After Hours events.
A. Tree of Life Massage will host an After Hours on May 7. Details
B. ConvexSERV Technology Solutions is preparing for their 4th Annual
Business After Hours Networking Event on Wednesday, May 21st. Each
year it has been a great success, and each year we strive for BIGGER
AND BETTER! In the most recent years, we have opened up the event for
not just our business, but for other storefront owners in our Plaza,
and to other Chamber members that were interested in setting up a
table. We have slots open, and want to extend the offer to our fellow
LCOC colleagues. Up until this year, a vendor's table was free;
however, this year we are requiring a nominal fee of $25 for your
vendor space. We will provide your table and promote your business,
along with ours, as we advertise for the event. There are only a few
As a reminder, our event has had over 100 attendees from local
Chambers and business persons in our community. It is a great event to
network. Perhaps even a giveaway at your table? Lisa Bennett-Luciotti,
with Affordable Party Planning Service, will once again be our event
planner. Each year she sets up for our event in new and exciting ways,
with scrumptious food and refreshments. We promote this event to the
public as free and open to all business owners/operators/managers.
Once we have all the vendors confirmed, I will be sending out formal
invitations through the local Chambers and other advertising/marketing
venues. We don't want you to miss out, so please let me know if you
are interested in a vendor's table.
C. Grace Initiatives will host a Networking Breakfast on June 4.
Details are forthcoming.
We are hoping to make these a regular part of the Chamber's program
with one or two every month. Not sure if this is for you? Ask some
of the other folks who have hosted recent events about how easy they
can be to plan and host and how successful they can be when
introducing your business to Chamber members and the broader business
